Cell Power can no longer vend for Power Measurement and MSI Metering customers, and affects mostly private housing estates. This may be rectified in the future. Ekurhuleni electricity: There are ongoing intermittent problems (almost daily) with Ekurhuleni. Please continue trying until your purchase is successful. Cape Town electricity: Click here to view instructions to purchase Cape Town electricity from your cellphone via SMS. This is the only channel through which Cell Power is permitted to sell Cape Town prepaid electricity. Please send email to helpdesk@cellpower.co.za if you encounter problems purchasing electricity so that we can follow up with the relevant municipality.
